Fifth Workshop on Active Imaging
The fifth Workshop on Active Imaging will take place on November 18 and 19, 2015 and be hosted by the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL).
This workshop will bring together researchers, operational staff, state representatives and industrial experts from different countries. It will enable the sharing of current information and we hope that it will facilitate future joint collaborations.
Presentations are sollicited in the following areas :
- operational needs (military and security aspects)
- modeling, simulation and data processing
- novel component technologies for illumination and sensor aspects
- demonstrations and applications of active-imaging systems
- advanced techniques : polarization, multiwavelength or spectral imaging, 3D imaging...
This year, there will also be a special focus on novel advanced imaging concepts such as compressed sensing, non-line of sight imaging, imaging with multiscattered photons or active synthetic aperture imaging.
Call for Papers
Participants can share the results of their theoretical and practical work by presenting a talk of about 15-20 minutes (depending on the number of topics). After each presentation, there will be a 5-minute interval for questions/answers.
You can submit the subject of the topic you want to treat to ISL before July 29, 2015 by sending a short summary by electronic mail. Fill-in the form and click on the icon "letter" to send the submission.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
A more detailed program will be established at the end of the fixed "call for papers" period.
